Tournament Rules
In order to win in Bootcamp and Parkour, a competitor must have four points. In order to win in Deathmatch/FFA, Fight, Racing, and Survivor, a competitor must have eight points. In order to win in Jeopardy, a competitor must try to get the highest score in each group. In order to win in Uno, a competitor must try to get rid of all their cards.
Never cause any kind of negative conflict towards your opponent or the referee.
If you are a spectator, never do something evil to interrupt the match. Only a maximum of 5 spectators is allowed in the tribe house to watch the match. A referee does not count as a spectator.
If you are competing, never do something evil to interrupt the match so you get a free win. Cheating is not tolerated. If you are caught, you will be punished.
When you are competing, never give away points to your opponent if you are losing badly. We do not tolerate free wins.
If you are lagging before or during the match, please notify the referee about a possible reschedule or delay. Pings below 300 will not be tolerated, since there are people that play with that ping.
If you have to log off during the match, please notify the referee about a possible reschedule and continue the match in the future.
Any paused match, such as logging off or lag, must be finished 72 hours after the start of the match and must be finished at the second meet-up. There will be no third, fourth, etc. meet-ups to finish a match. If a paused match reaches 72 hours, then the person who has the most points will get the victory. Therefore, when a match must be paused, no ties are allowed for this very reason.
Referees and competitors are responsible to know who faces who. A referee will notify the two competitors that they have a match. If two competitors notice that they have a match and the referee does not notify them, the two competitors are responsible to tell the referee that they have a match.
If one of the competitors refuses to compete (lag and logging off does not count), there will be a set of consequences:
1st time = You are good.
2nd time = 1st warning.
3rd time = 2nd warning.
4th time = 3rd warning.
5th time = Automatic disqualification from the tournament.
When two competitors are getting ready to do their match and are in the tribe house, no one is allowed to play music or launch any module without permission. This can cause severe lag for a competitor.
If a score reaches 3-3 or 7-7, the match must continue to 5 or 9 points respectively. This will continue until there is a winner by a margin of two points. This is called the two-point margin rule. For example, 9-9 is not allowed, but 11-9 is. There is no limit when a match reaches the two-point margin rule stage. There must be a winner until a two-point margin score happens between two competitors.
Once a match has been declared over by a referee, it is declared over and can no longer be done anything about it.
Referees are not perfect whatsoever. If you feel a referee committed an error in your match, please say something during the match. After the match is not tolerated and will not be done anything about it.
Never take the tournament seriously.
Play fair. Do not hack.
If you violate any of these rules, Akoolchicano will think of a nice punishment.
