Referees

To give you an easy lecture, a referee is a person who will moderate the match and have the right to not count a map and which map counts for the score. In this edition, anyone can be able to officiate any match if they know what they are doing and how to ref the specific minigame. When doing a match, you must have a referee online with you all the time. Only under certain emergencies can the two competitors referee their own match! If you need a referee for a match, contact someone on Discord so they can be able to officiate! The main referee and administrator of this tournament will be Akoolchicano. Map codes are available on the Map Codes page on this website.

For those that do officiate a match, you must report the score to Akoolchicano on Discord, along with the date and time that the match started and ended. You can submit your local time, but most preferably in the time zone that the tournament uses, which is GMT +1.

All referee duties will be posted on the Minigame Rules pages just in case if a referee needs help on what to do in a minigame. There are also cheat sheets to help you how to officiate a minigame.

If you feel that a referee did a bad job in a match or a controversial call, please contact Akoolchicano and we can discuss what happened in order to prevent this from occurring again. However, once the score is submitted to Akoolchicano, the score is official and final and will not be changed.
