Transformice Questions

What is the story behind your Transformice username?

2016: Back in 2010, I used to say the word "Kool" a lot on Facebook. Back when I did not think I would play this game on a long-term basis, I made it a part of my username. The word "Chicano" means Mexican-American and I love my heritage, so why not make it part of my username overall.

2021: Not many people know, but this is actually my second account. "Kool" was something that I used to say a lot when I was younger on any social platform. I am a "Chicano," so I thought of the idea to put those two words together and create "Akoolchicano."

What is your favorite aspect of Transformice (i.e. Survivor, Bootcamp, Fight, etc.)?

2016: I love Bootcamp and Racing!

2021: I have been a big fan of Defilante lately! I still enjoy Bootcamp, Fight, and Racing though!

Do you prefer being a shaman or getting the cheese?

2016: I prefer getting the cheese since I love earning firsts.

2021: I love being both! I still try to earn as many firsts as I can but I also like to get saves too!

What is the best/worst part of Transformice?

2016: The best part of Transformice is having friends log in all the time. They make the game fun overall. The worst part of Transformice is the Animal Jam-filled community and hoes like Symphoni and Magicallina. Kidding.

2021: The best part of Transformice nowadays has been the introduction of quests. I love being able to earn extra cheese and tickets! The worst part of Transformice is that anyone is hardly there anymore on an active basis. Therefore, sometimes I basically have to play all by myself.

What is your favorite shaman item?

2016: I like customization planks.

2021: The taco anvil!

What led you to the tribe Carpe Omnia? If you are not a member of the tribe, what led you to become part of our family?

2016: I joined Carpe Omnia after my former home, The Lost Ones, started dying back in early 2014. Micedragons was the only friend who still played Transformice back then, so I decided to join him and try to meet new friends.

2021: I have been with the people of this tribe for over a decade now! We have gone through many tribes and then when a lot of people began going inactive, I hanged out with Micedragons a lot since he was the only person left. I decided to then join his tribe, and I got to know many of his tribe members, who I am still friends with to this day!

What is your favorite type of map (i.e. Art, Soulmate, etc.)?

2016: My favorite map type has to be the racing maps they play in regular rooms.

2021: Nowadays, I honestly don't have a preference. I love seeing racing, shaman, and vanilla maps in regular rooms.

What was your first impression of Transformice? Did you like it?

2016: I thought Transformice looked dumb when my real-life friends showed me this game. This was probably because I did not know what I was doing. But after learning how to play better, I started enjoying Transformice.

2021: What is this and why are there so many mice? What do I do? How do I climb up?

What is your favorite title to wear?

2016: I do not really have a favorite title, sadly. If I were to choose one title, I would go with Gravity Master.

2021: I usually wear whatever title I just unlocked, but my favorite has to be Procrastinator.

Do you have any memorable moments on Transformice that you would like to share?

2016: Yes! My favorite would have to be the entirety of the summer of 2015. It was a season where I reunited with many friends that I thought I lost, such as Kendymenelas and Mustafahadi. It was also a time where I got to meet new people, such as Bliblitt, Cookehxd, and Piggyback. All of these new and reunited friends combined with friends I already talked to came together to become one big, happy family. This family just keeps increasing every month, doesn't it?

2021: Thinking about it, all the tournaments that I have hosted honestly. This is the eighth time I have been doing this for everyone. It is stressful at times, but I still have fun with everyone else at the end. The tournaments that I hosted in Summer 2015 and Summer 2020 were probably the most memorable. Summer 2015 was because it was the most competitive tournament I have ever created while Summer 2020 had the most friends involved.

What was your favorite event on Transformice?

2016: My favorite event would have to be that Back to School event they had last summer. It was so simple and I love learning.

2021: My favorite event is still the Back to School event. I am a future teacher in a couple of months, so I have to love school right?

What item are you saving up for in the shop?

2016: I am a cheese whore. I have 35,188 cheese currently in the shop. I am not really saving up for anything honestly. :D

2021: Five years later, I still have not really saved up for anything. If you are curious, I have 32,610 cheese right now.

How long do you think you will keep playing Transformice?

2016: To be honest, I am planning on probably stopping sometime after I turn 20 years old. I may change my mind though. It has been a long six years and I still want to do stuff outside of the Internet before graduating from the university in 2019. So who knows, you might see me exit the Transformice world in this very year of 2016.

2021: Looking back at my response, I actually did end up stopping at the end of 2016. I came back in 2020 due to the pandemic, but I am still here! I think after the tourney, I may begin to just check in the game on a weekly basis due to my career beginning soon. However, I don't plan on saying goodbye just yet.

2016: Arrow keys.

Personal Questions

What is your biggest fear?

2016: I have a blood and heights fear.

2021: I have a fear of blood, failure, and heights.

2016: Honestly, if I do not include some people, they will hate me. Kidding! I would love to meet anyone who I associate with on the Internet. But if I were to choose, I would select Cookehxd, Itsflamedude, Magicallina, Mustafahadi, and Symphoni.

2021: I have gotten to meet Symphoni (3 times!) and Lilehmouse (1 time!) in real life! However, I still would like to meet Cewb, Cheezonwheel, Cookehxd, Itsflamedude, Kendy, Magicallina, and Micsaur at some point.

2016: I am 5'7" or 170 centimeters.

2021: I am still 5'7" or 170 centimeters.

What are your Top 3 movies/TV shows/albums/artists (Pick any category!)?

2016: My Top 3 musical artists are Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, and Linkin Park. I do not watch movies nor TV shows because I am lame.

2021: I feel like I have gotten more cultured since 2016. My top 3 TV shows are Parks and Recreation, Jeopardy, and Hell's Kitchen. No idea if sports count as well, but I love to watch soccer (Liga MX, Champions League, international tournaments) as well as my Astros, Texans (before the drama), and Dynamo! I still mostly listen to the same music because I have not really had the time to explore new music. Coco and Toy Story will always have a special place in my heart.

2021: Shirts because you can put whatever design you want on them! While pants are just pants and no one should be looking down there anyway!

What is your favorite personality trait in a person?

2016: I like a person who is humorous, honest, and intelligent.

2021: My favorite personality traits are honesty, loyalty, humorous, and intelligence!

Did you have a favorite childhood toy? If so, what is it?

2016: Yes! I used to love collecting those Thomas and Friends train tracks.

2021: I used to annoy my parents into buying me Thomas and Friends train tracks and any toy that I see from Blue's Clues.

What is your idea of a perfect weekend?

2016: My perfect weekend would be me being home alone and relaxing with nothing to do while watching a good soccer/football game and eating pizza and drinking soda.

2021: My perfect weekend would be where there is no any sort of deadlines approaching and I can just relax by either watching YouTube videos, some recorded shows from my DVR, or watching a football, soccer, or baseball game along with some good tacos or burgers to eat and enjoy.

If you were granted 3 wishes, what would they be?

2016: My three wishes would be: Win the lottery, Meet all my Internet friends at the same time, Get old friends I used to know back in my life.

2021: My three wishes would be to have a better life, win the lottery, and then wish for unlimited wishes! After that, I will wish for a vacation to another continent and to not gain weight each time I eat about a pound of food.

What language(s) are you fluent in? What language(s) do you WISH you were fluent in?

2016: I am fluent in both English and Spanish. Some people say I suck at Spanish but I think I am well enough to speak it with other people. I wish I was fluent in Portuguese, French, Italian, or German.

2021: I am fluent in both English and Spanish. My Spanish has been getting better lately because I used to work with Spanish-speakers at my old job and I have been practicing it more on Duolingo. I wish I was fluent in Arabic, Italian, and Portuguese.

What are your hobbies outside of Transformice?

2016: Well, I am a lame person, so I do boring stuff. I love walking around my neighborhood and studying and watching sports.

2021: I usually just watch YouTube videos and watch whatever sporting event is on TV. If there is anything school related to do, I mostly work on lessons.

What do you want to do at least once in your life?

2016: I want to travel to Europe or Asia for a year!

2021: I still want to explore around the world for a long period of time!

What is your favorite subject to study in school?

2016: As many of you know, I love history. I prefer American or European history.

2021: Well, I majored in History and I am going to be a U.S. History teacher in August! So guess what is my favorite subject?

What is your favorite thing to drink?

2016: I love drinking soda. My favorites are Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, and Coke. I love Crystal Pepsi right now. PLEASE TRY IT!

2021: I like drinking water, tea, and soda. I have been trying to cut down on my soda intake however.

Do you play any sports? If so, what are they?

2016: If I had friends, I would play. I really want to try out soccer/football and basketball.

2021: No, I am too lonely to play sports. I would if I had people that were into it. I would love to try out soccer and baseball.
