Q&A

Where will the matches be held?

Most of the matches will be featured in the tribe house. On a few occasions, we might have to compete in a regular room in case if a module is down. Jeopardy games will be hosted on Discord.

Do I have to log in every day?

It is not required. The important thing is that you must be active, such as being online normally like now. We understand there are days where you cannot log in.

Do I have to get online at extreme times sometimes?

A few people will get crazy matches (large time zone differences) and might have to stay up or get up early to compete. If you are one of those people, do the right thing and help us out.

Where do I check who do I face in each minigame?

You can see your competition by going to the Matches page on this website and see the minigame that you are competing with by selecting its respective button or by using the dropdown menu. They will be announced the day before the tournament begins.

I lag a lot and my Internet sucks. Should I still sign up?

You should! Remember the primary focus of this tournament is to have fun. If you are lagging badly and it is affecting your performance, just tell a referee before or during a match.

I suck at all the minigames! Should I still sign up?

Please! Remember we are just here to have fun. It is not the World Cup or the Olympics. Morgan Freeman is not watching you sucking.

Will I face the same person in each minigame I sign up for?

There is a small chance that you will face the same person in more than one minigame, but not all the minigames. Your opponents are randomly drawn based on the minigame you both signed up for. The chances of getting someone you face in another minigame are low but possible.

Will there be prizes for the person who wins?

Yes, there is! There will also be a prize for the top three people who have the most top-four appearances in each minigame using a point system. The point system for rewards is: the fourth place will get you one point, the third place will get you three points, the second place will get you five points, and the first place will get you seven points. Third place will win $8, second place will win $12, and first place will win $20 and a grand prize as well.

Who are the referees this summer and how do I become one?

The main referee will be Akoolchicano and he is the authority figure of the entire tournament. In this tournament, we are doing something different! Any person can be able to officiate any match if they know what they are doing and how to ref the specific minigame.
